The new Easy Scale Scaffolding system represents the greatest improvements and features in swing type scaffolding available today. The design of the new system comes as a result of years of close observation and experimentation under actual working conditions and provides the safest, most efficient and economic support for scaling the sides of new or existing buildings. Easy Scale is designed for masonry construction on steel and concrete buildings, stone setting, demolition, refacing, and stuccoing.

Many other applications can be accommodated with minor modifications. The rigging and operational cost savings using Easy Scale are substantial and are the main reason for the success of this new scaffolding system.

The basic Easy Scale systems use wire rope and the Griphoist / Tirfor hoist for its principle means of travel, both of these components assure the optimum safety possible. This provides the safest continual control possible for both raising or lowering the scaffolding. Griphoist is in a locked position at all times and inherently prevents the wire rope from unwinding. The frames support guard rails, toe-boards, and overhead protection as required. Repairs can be made to the hoisting machines while in use with little or no work stoppage occurring. The entire length of wire rope is exposed at all times and can be inspected easily. There are no drums to conceal the condition of the wire or to tangle the wire as often happens or to cause mechanical breakdowns. All frames, hoists, and wire ropes are inspected and overhauled between jobs.

The Easy Scale system is easy to assemble, easy to use, and provides unobstructed access to the face of the building. These benefits result in substantial savings in time and money.

Every scaffolding frame is suspended by two hoists and is interlocked together with four parallel connectors to provide maximum lateral stability. Swing is substantially reduced because of the four cables per section.

The basic frames can be assembled in approximately 60% of the time required by other systems. Frames are rigged at the bottom of the building. Supports can be rigged anywhere in the height of the building and can be re-rigged at the top as construction proceeds without lowering the platform.

The masonry system has a raised center support specifically designed to support bricks and mortar at an ideal height to reduce human energy expended through bending. Increased efficiency is achieved and back strain and sickness are reduced substantially.

The platforms are instantly adjustable even when loaded with one common handle powering two hoists. Easy Scale systems allow for continuous use in multi-story structures; the height of the building is irrelevant. The entire scaffold can be enclosed and heated for winter operation.

Easy Scale provides a separate area for replenishing supplies and eliminates interference between various groups of workers. Braces, winch mechanisms, and other support apparatus never come between the workers and the face of the building with Easy Scale.
