Power Climber offers two types of electric hoists - the Astro Hoist and the Pocket Climber hoist.

The Astro Hoist is a "compact, heavy-duty hoist ideal for use in virtually any suspended scaffolding application. In the same respect, the Pocket Climber is even more compact, and offers many of the same features the Astro Hoist offers.

Some of the features of the Power Climber hoists are:

• Multiple Wire Rope Sizes - Automatically accepts wire rope diameters from 5/16 inch up to 3/8 inch (Astro).
• Controlled Descent - In case of power failure (Astro & Pocket Climber).
• High Speed - 35 feet (10.5 meters) per minute (Astro & Pocket Climber).
• Two Built in Wire Rope Brakes - Emergency protection provided by an over-speed brake (Astro & Pocket Climber).
• Slack Wire Rope Brake - operates when the hoist senses a slack, broken, or detached suspension rope (Pocket Climber).
• Power Indicator Light - Confirms power to the hoist (Astro & Pocket Climber).
• Hour Meter - Records actual operating hours (Astro).
• Crank Handle - Enables the operator to raise hoist in case of emergency (Astro & Pocket Climber).
• Full Power Cut-off Switch - Shuts all power off in case of emergency (Astro & Pocket Climber).
• Thermal Protector - Cuts off power if overheated (Astro).
